Global Warming is expected to change shoreline wildlife. This shows the greatly increased span of an inland artificial reservoir. In years past, this area had been covered by water. As of 2007, activities & animals in the greatly increased shoreline include: Bald Eagle, Heron, Geese, Duck, Buzzards, Sea Gulls. Lake activities include Boating &Skull. Eagle filmed just north of Hoover Dam on west side of Hoover Reservoir Westerville, Ohio Global warming is expected to change inland lakes, through climate change, temperature, and changes in rain and snowfall. The inland lakes may become smaller, shallower, and have decreased ability to sustain healthy aquatic life. The Hoover Reservoir in Ohio is an example of an inland lake. Its depth is much lower than normal with a large riparian zone around what had been water. One reason is that the population of Columbus, Ohio, consumes water from it heavily. Although this process is detrimental to aquatic life, shoreline species make much use of the increased shoreline area. This video shows an adult bald eagle, great blue herons, several kinds of geese, turkey vultures, gulls, ducks, and many other shoreline species.
